When I played with the MC5 calling themselves DKT/MC5, Wayne Kramer would exclaim “we are here to celebrate the music of the MC5”….. in that same spirit I am here this night to celebrate with a great local band, a band I have spent close to 45 years as the lead singer of, the DICTATORS, Manitoba’s Wild Kingdom, guest singer of the MC5, some new songs I wrote from my yet to be released first solo album, and cover some of the great rock ‘n’ roll tunes of all time. COME!!!!!! And please pass this on …Rock ‘n’ roll ain’t exactly takin’ over the East Village lets go back to yesteryear and get rid of the hookah pipes and get rid of the girls and boys dressing up like their mommies and daddies! Tell the truth kids do you really want to go out on New Year’s Eve with…..THEM!!!??!!
